Detail: MidwestLatino was created in October 2004 with the mission of promoting multicultural understanding and supporting social, cultural and educational interests and needs of the growing Latino community in the Midwest (OH, KY, IN, MI, PA).
Our goals are:

* to promote the richness and variety of Latino/Hispanic culture
* to help Latinos/Hispanics to crossover to the mainstream of US Society without forcing them
to neglect and ignore their language, culture, and heritage;
* to support people/organizations trying to reach Latino Community in the Midwest
* to increase awareness in our society to various cultures and multicultural issues;
* to help enrich the experience of multi-ethnic communities;
* to develop a community that values diversity;

In order to achieve these goals MidwestLatino is cooperating with various Latino/Hispanic organizations within Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania & Michigan.
