Detail: The Eddie Brookshire Quintet is all about the truth and energy. Eddie’s musical ensemble can best be described as a neo, post bop, contemporary, high energy enclave. Their music consists primarily of originally composed songs and features musicians uniquely positioned to influence the direction of jazz. The quintet features the mercurial Mark Lomax II on drum kit, Dr. Gary Onady on trumpet and flugelhorn, Dean Marcellana on piano, Jack Novotny on tenor and soprano saxophone, flute, and bass clarinet, and the venerable Eddie Brookshire on acoustic bass.
